How to Choose the Right Movable Partition Series for Your Project

If you've ever had to pick a movable partition wall for a hotel ballroom or an office meeting room, you probably know the drill — too many brands, too many sales reps, each telling you something different. It gets confusing fast.

We get asked the same question almost every week: "Which one is your best model?"

Honestly? There's no one-size-fits-all answer. It really comes down to three things: what's your ceiling height, how many decibels do you actually need, and how often will this wall be moved — twice a day or twice a year? Once you give me those numbers, I can narrow it down for you in no time.

65 Series：For Smaller Rooms

The 65 series is our lightest option. Panel thickness is 65mm, and it works well for spaces up to about 4.2 meters high. One person can push it without much effort, which makes it a good fit for small meeting rooms, training spaces, and dance studios.

It is the most budget-friendly choice. The trade-off is limited height and moderate sound insulation. We would not recommend it for a large banquet hall — it is simply not built for that.

85 Series：The Most Popular Choice

This is the one we sell the most. At 85mm thick and up to 8 meters in height, it covers a wide range of commercial applications: restaurant private rooms, mid-size banquet halls, hotel function rooms.

Sound insulation is noticeably better than the 65 series. You can also add a built-in pass door so people do not have to walk around the entire partition to get to the other side. For most projects where budget and performance need to balance, the 85 series is hard to go wrong with.

100 Series： For Large Spaces and High Acoustic Requirements

When you are dealing with a hotel ballroom over 8 meters tall, or you need serious sound separation between two simultaneous events, the 100 series is the way to go. Panels are 100mm thick, height can reach 12 meters, and sound insulation goes up to 60dB.

We have also done custom ultra-high, curved, and L-shaped configurations on this series. It costs more, but for large-scale projects the difference in performance is significant.
