Before talking about series numbers, jot down three things: ceiling height, how often you'll move the partitions, and whether you'll run two classes at the same time.
Most dance studios we see aren’t hotel ballrooms. The ceiling height is usually under 4 meters. One staff member can handle the partitions between classes. Sound is important, but you probably don’t need the heaviest 100-series system designed for a 12-meter-high ballroom.

Why the 65 series works for many studios
Our 65 series panels are 65mm thick, suitable for spaces around 4.2 meters or less. They’re light enough that staff can push them around without tools. For training rooms or dance studios that need clear separation between spaces, it’s usually the practical choice.
If your studio is taller, the music is louder, or stronger soundproofing is required for exams and performances, we usually consider the 85 series. It can go higher and offers better sound insulation. The point isn’t to sell the thickest panel, but to match the room’s needs. If you have very high soundproofing requirements, we might consider filling your partitions with thicker insulation to meet your soundproofing needs.

Details that decide whether you will be happy six months later
Track type: ceiling-mounted systems keep the floor clear. Dancers notice floor grooves immediately, and cleaning staff hate them.
Seals: sound performance is not only about panel thickness. Top and bottom seals have to seat properly when the wall is closed. A cheap install that skips this step wastes the panel rating.
Finish: mirror walls and wood floors set the look. Partition faces can be melamine, fabric, or custom colors so the wall does not look like a warehouse panel sitting in a studio.
Parking bay: when open, panels stack to one side. Leave space for that in the layout, or the "flexible room" becomes awkward every time you open it.
